Description: Leading NYC based Hedge Fund are looking to hire an extremely technical entry level Quant Strategist to their systematic trading team to work on the development of trading strategies. The role is extremely mathematical and will involve the application of mathematical modelling techniques and a heavy interaction with the fund management and trading teams.
Qualifications: Candidates must possess an exceptional academic background with a PhD from a top university such as financial maths, statistics, probability. Existing financial knowledge and relevant work experience will be highly desired, whilst advanced programming skills, particularly in C++ are a prerequisite.
