Description: Real estate private equity firm seeks an Accounting Manager. This position manages and maintains the books for a growing real estate investment firm located on the Peninsula. This position maintains bank accounts and treasury functions for all properties and affiliates and manages the accounting close process, performs and prepares accounting transactions and financial statements.
Qualifications: The qualified candidate must have a BA or BS in Accounting and a minimum of five years progressive experience with at least three years direct managerial responsibility in a real estate, investment company or private equity accounting environment. Financial accounting, consolidations and hands-on experience in preparation of financial statements and GAAP cash flow statement.
