Description: This position manages and maintains the books for a growing real estate investment firm located on the Peninsula. Manage the accounting close process, perform and prepare accounting transactions and financial statements. Works directly with independent property managers that are responsible for property level accounting, providing information and guidance with respect to bookkeeping and accounting for all owned properties.
Maintain bank accounts and treasury functions for all properties and affiliates.
Qualifications: Must have a BA or BS in Accounting and a minimum of five years progressive experience with at least three years direct managerial responsibility in a real estate, investment company or private equity accounting environment. Strong managerial and supervising skills are necessary to succeed at this position.
